This is a nice concept. I use the FastCap screws around my house to hang cabinets in my laundry closet and to change out those wire shelving shelves that come in homes to sturdier wood shelves. The screws were great, but I wanted to be able to countersink the screws and cover them up so they would not be so visible when finished. I use a cordless impact driver that's good for small hands which has a 1/4 hex bit attachment on it. I thought (which I should have done a closeup on the pics for this product) that since the screws come with hex bits that this would also have a hex bit head on it too. Well, it doesn't. So if you are thinking like me, you will be slightly disappointed because this means now you have to pull out the big bulky drill that has a chuck on it. I want to make others aware of this so you don't make the same mistake I made and now you are left trying to find a workaround because you see the usefulness in this tool. Right now I am looking at a hex bit to chuck converter, but most say they don't work if you put the drill in reverse. I also contacted the manufacturer and was told the only workaround (which is not a workaround) is to use a drill with a chuck.

While it does drill the correct depth for fast path screws, the cuttings built up around the cutters and required cleaning much to offen if you drill more than a dozen recesses.
