Arrived promptly. Nicely packaged. Somewhat intimidating to start to put together. But easy after I got pieces sorted. Working well with my rug. Very happy with this item.

I don't understand all the hoopla about how difficult this stand is to put together. If you read the instructions it's a piece of cake. Check the contents list, line up the parts and put it together. Now my hook rug is so much easier to handle since it's off my lap.I definitely recommend this stand if you plan on working with larger kits.I choose to have the yarn boxes behind my work rather than in front as the instructions suggest.You decide what's more comfortable for you.

I have attached a Frank A. Edmunds lap model stitching stand (using zip ties) to the Frank A. Edmunds rug hooking stand. Used in combination I am able to comfortably stitch for hours sitting at a comfortable height.This had made an easily movable table/stand which holds yarn supplies, scissors and plenty of other items.
