I love that I can use this one frame for a variety of project sizes. It is easy to assemble and use.The only con, which is why I docked a star: It's a bit unfinished. There were splinters that I had to smooth out from the pieces before using.I wish I bought this frame first instead of the more expensive one that I can't adjust. It would've saved me $30.

This scroll is perfect for a couple of cross stitch projects I'm working on, but the wing nuts that come with the set are absolute garbage and don't tighten or hold anything. I brought the end pieces to my local hardware shop so they could get the right size replacement. At 33 cents per wing nut, my scroll is now pretty darn perfect and works just right.

These are good frames however, the wing nuts are not the quality they use to use. After tightening they sometimes break lose and loosen the bolts. However all I did was to purchase more wing nuts

The rods and clamps all look good with no cracks or anything so that's the main thing. I'm super excited to try it out and see how well it keeps the fabric held tight. Docked a star because out of the 8 wing nuts, 4 of them are faulty so I have to go out and buy some new ones if I want to use both sets at once. Kind of bummed about that, but it will work for now.
