I love the design and they are perfect for my therapy kids. If you have a young rider, or a smaller breed I'd say buy these hands down (pun intended). They are too short for larger breed horses over 15 hands. Probably OK on an Appaloosa or even a walker if they have more narrow heads. I would not get them if you ride a Quarter horse or larger. No way on Percherons. On my friend Ranger I couldn't get them to touch the pommel.
