I live in Houston and have 2 mature Magnolia trees in my front yard. The leaves are a huge pain to collect and dispose of. I've tried several different tools none of which were really effective and all of them required me to bend over a lot. I happened to see a review for this picker and ordered it on a whim. First time out of the box, I was able to easily clear my entire front yard! Of course, the slightest bit of wind knocks new leaves out of the trees, so I need to tamp down my obsessive-compulsive urges :) I'm so excited about this purchase, I will buy a second one as soon as they restock so my husband can help me!

There's a gap between my porch front door that I dropped my keys in, about 4-5 ft drop. Remembered I had this little gem outside on the porch it worked great to maneuver the end into key ring rescue them. I like it for getting trash too because the little T piece on the end holds trash on so it's not constantly slipping off. Pretty nice

I was looking for something my 8 year old son could use to pick up trash around the yard (that wouldn't turn into a toy). The edges are not sharp and it's easy to use without too much force.
