The picker is very light and easy to handle. I gave it a 1 star simply because the tips bend very easy. If the tips were crafted in a stronger fashion, it would be excellent.

Picker is a great length, light weight, and easy to use. Took off one star as the tip was easy to bend over time. I was able to bend it back, however, it is not ideal for repetitive use.

Keep the cap it comes with, this bad boy is super sharp! It will def help you grab all the cans, bottles etc along the road for earth day!

I bought this (ordered 2) so that I could clean up spent water balloons in my back yard (didn't want to be bending over to pick up 9,000 pieces of rubber). I now use these to pick up everything in my yard. These are great and really do help make clean up simple, easy and dare I say, enjoyable.

I received this yesterday (2 days late). I wrestled the blue tip off and discovered that there is no pointed tip!! Instead of looking like a small stake, the end was a hollow, blunt tube. Does anyone inspect these things or was it supposed to have a useless blunt tube in the end?

Every dang thing that is light gets blown into the nearby arroyo. Boxes. Cans. Bottles. Lawn furniture.This dealie is pretty hecking good for spearing light stuff, Styrofoam to aluminum cans. The point broke off, there are replacement points available for purchase, but it is still serviceable to pierce most random trash items.Remember not to poke pressurized cans, sometimes spray paint cans can look a bit like a weird empty aluminum drinking can, right?

it has a plastic safety guard and once remove it has a metal guard which is blunt. just hold the metal part with pliers and twist the pole away from you and it comes off easy, if no pliers use a door jam, just hold the metal part and twist the pole.

Works after I superglued the spike in place. This is for light duty use. It will bend easy, but gets trash ok.
