It will do what I want it to when I get it on. The problem was the toilet seat has a metel hinge and the bolts are are part of it, not long enoungh for extention so I have to get a new seat. So if U want to get this check your seat 1rst that it has bolt holes and not part of hinge. If U need a new seat also they have the pair here. It will be great for old people that don't get around so good or tall people.

The only problem I have is when you get off the toilet seat moves slightly.

I liked the raising of the seat. However, it is screwed down so you can't clean it without a small amount of extra effort.

This is much better than the type with an adjustable pressure mount since this comes with long plastic bolts so you can still use the toilet seat and lid. I wasted my money on the other kind which was loose and uncomfortable. This one also has a much larger hole

I modified as the photo attached. I glued on one ring in the inner circle to avoid the urine goes to the gape between raised toilet seat and the toilet. It is essential.

I am 6'5” so anything added would be helpful but this is a bit over the top! It's already on a tall toilet stand so you can imagine! It won't be that easy to clean underneath where it sits on top of the commode, but it is better than what I had!

My husband just had knee surgery and the surgeon recommended a raised toilet seat. Was easy to install, so will be easy to take down when he doesn't need it any more.

Just make sure somehow you get better imagination if it's height since what I calculated and expected came wrong. I couldn't use it due to being too high

It is easy to install you are able to 'Get Down' on the floor around your toilet. Be sure to get the SHAPE same as the contour of your toilet seat.

Looks good but not as stable and make sure to save your original toilet seat as this will be hard to sit on without a seat on top. I wish I would of gotten the old fashioned toilet topper / seat

This seat actually bolts to the toilet with long bolts to get through it and the toilet seat holes. So you can mount the toilet seat directly on top. Most others aren't like this. It keeps it extremely secure to the toilet so no worries about your family member falling.

Well if you want to spend as much as the riser cost buy two stainless steel bolts and nuts, (or brass), that will solve the rust problem
