The new design also holds the L-pin slightly above the top of the Equal-i-zer spring arm, which helps reduce hitch noise, especially in slow, tight turns. Make using your Equal-i-zer hitch even easier by combining this with a set of Socket Pins with Thumb Clips.

Was using the old pins with a cotter pin and lost the cotter pin ,this will not be te case with these new ones!

Bought a set of these (and a spare set) to replace the OEM WD clips/keepers that SOME A-HOLE STOLE OFF OUR TRAILER IN A REMOTE CAMPSITE.... The spring clip works better than the OEM style with the pin you insert, which you can lose if you misplace it. Buy a spare set for cheap insurance against thieves. The don't rust, are a sort of semi-shiny stainless finish so you can see them easier than say black ones, and are strong.
