We are proud to support the Small Organic Farmers' Association (SOFA) in Sri Lanka who grow a variety of crops including tea, black pepper, cloves and ginger. Unlike the typical monoculture model of tea production, SOFA's crop diversification provides both economic and environmental resilience at the farm level and supports their vision to establish a prosperous community living in harmony with the enviroment. Most teas-even those that are certified as fair trade-come from large plantations where workers have little say and are trapped in a system of dependency. The small farmers who grow our teas control their land and their livelihoods. Together, we're building an alternative tea model and a farmer-led future for the tea industry.

My wife, being a coffee drinker for her lifetime and trying to kick the habit, has switched to Irish Breakfast and she adores it. Personally I blend English and Irish Breakfast makes a strong delicious blend. Equal Exchange is a great company and fair to the farmers. I endorse them and their tea.

This is hands down the best Earl Grey tea in bags.It's organic and you can see the bergamot oil on the tea bag. I love the flavor and I've tried other brands.
