Can’t speak to how it is putting it together as my dad surprised me by putting it together for me, but I really love it. It’s sturdy, beautiful, simple, plenty of room. It fit perfectly in my space and even fit most of my books (i didn’t think it would so that was a pleasant surprise!). Great height, takes up most of my wall which I love.

Assembly is a bit of a pain, it took me about 3 hours total. Lots of parts and screws, occasionally awkward steps. But once it was done it looked good and I could put books, magazines, relatively heavy items on it and it holds great. Looks good, the split-level design is more interesting than the typical shelf.

I love this! Took me about 3 hours to put together by myself because it’s all Allen wrench screws. But totally worth it! Once I understood the pattern I didn’t really need the instructions. I would recommend getting a ratchet with an Allen wrench head because once I got one of those, it went much quicker. Looks nice and quality is great. It’s very sturdy. Highly recommend, very nice for the price!

I really love my shelves, I bought two for my room while my closet and bathroom were being built. I do agree they have a tendency to to easily, but people must have been torquing on them awfully hard to split the wood. I did not split the wood at all. I used a drill and set the torque at 2. It was fine.

Beautiful and easy to assemble bookshelf. Just what I was looking for. Takes up a large space on the wall and plenty of room for all my books and knick knacks. The only think to note is that for large books, they may not fit on spots other than the top shelf.
