Arrived with the valve stoppers loose in red tubes which makes it not safe for use. Looks like the red tubes were perhaps sonically welded(melted) and glued around the white twist stoppers and both were completely loose and came right out when the twist valves were operated. Will not retain air in either chamber.

Reasonable cost and very effective. blow partially up on one side and slip under the deck web along with bilge pump. Easy to put on paddle in water and really stabilizes boat. would work better if could connect paddle to cockpit combing to get more 90 degree entry.

Works just as it should! Makes kayak re-entry a million times easier. I took my kayak out on the lake and tested it in a situation where there was a moderate wake and no ability to touch bottom, this float was very easy to slip on, inflate, attach, and set up in a real life scenario. It was even able to help me keep me and my boat upright and stable while I pumped the water out. While I hope I am never in a situation where my life depends on it, I am confident using this float.

Must have for kayakers. No not go out on the water without one. Especially if you ever go out alone. A paddle float is an absolute for self rescue. This is a two chamber paddle float, big benefit. I was told to seek out this style of paddle float. Get some instruction on self rescue and how to use it. I tried mine out right away when I got it. I used is many times too prcticas anda get comefortable with it. I feel much safer on the water when I go out alone.
