The Original Cafe Du Monde Coffee Stand was established in 1862 in the New Orleans French Market. The Cafe is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and only closes on Christmas Day. While originally known for its French-inspired coffee and chicory flavors, the cafe now offers a pure French Roast Coffee without the chicory, with all the same New Orleans taste. Its a blend of 100% arabica beans and has a smooth yet rich flavor.

I love good tasting coffee and I have been searching for one with a great taste. This one has an excellent taste! I have bought this coffee four times already and I will continue to buy it from now on!

I don't exactly know what chicory does when added to coffee but this coffee is delicious. It's robust, tasty, strong and worth a try.

This coffee is far superior to the Chicory, which is the blend Cafe du Monde is best known for. The French Roast is roasted and smooth. Not too strong. The Chicory by contrast tastes like battery acid and will blow the back of your head off!
