The Gooseneck Style Basketball Post Set extends the face of the backboard approximately 4' (1.22 m) from the front edge of the post. It is constructed of 4-1/2" (114 mm) OD heavy-walled galvanized pipe formed with an approximate 18" (46 cm) radius. The backboard and goal bolt directly to the post forming a solid unit. This eliminates strain on the backboard, if a player hangs on the goal, by transferring the load to the heavy-duty steel post. The Gooseneck Style Basketball Post Sets are ideal for outdoor school playgrounds, parks, camps, and other outdoor applications.
