I've been looking for something like this apron for a long time. It covers a cook's chest, where olive oil and spaghetti sauce and so forth tend to get splattered, at least when I'm cooking. After recently ruining three tee shirts by cooking in them, I began looking for an old-fashioned granny apron that covers the chest as well as waist.This apron does just that. It has front and back panels; it comes in various sizes from small to XX large; it's adjustable by having side ties; it's long enough that a waist apron may not be needed ( it completely covered the half bistro apron [16 drop length] that I bought to use with it). It's made of heavy cloth, so it may be hot in summer, but it also should protect my clothes from soak-through spots.I'm so happy to have found it. Maybe I'll quit ruining my clothes.

I use this for a bib. I looked at all the bibs available and didn't like any of them - too small, made of inferior material, had to tie around the neck to use. The cobbler's apron was exactly what I wanted! Large enough for my 370 lb. body, just pop it over your head, and made very well from a thick cotton twill fabric that will last for as long as I need it. Best bib ever!!

Just received this apron. It is made of heavy duty material and has deep pockets to hold a few items. After I purchased 3, I purchased 5 more. Great Apron!

Great apron to wear while cooking dinner. I've tried several different aprons like the kind that has a loop that goes over your head and ties in the back. It didn't provide enough protection for the front of my clothing. Next, I bought a chef's jacket but found it was too hot to use for very long. This one is perfect. The whole front of my clothing is covered but it's not hot at all, has a helpful pocket in the front, and washes well.
