I'm only drawing zentangles and having fun coloring them in. My only issue with these pencils is that the color of the lead is not close too the color it's painted. They also sharpen nicely in an electric sharpener.

currently, prang is one of the most affordable options while still being a reasonable quality to work with however after buying multiple packs the pigmentation of the same color can be completely different sometimes nice and vibrant, and sometimes washed out depending on your luck. great value at the cost of inconsistent quality. that being said definitely still worth it. Edit: Further into usage they keep breaking I haven't dropped them they are just falling apart.

I find these work for my occasional foray into adult coloring books; nice variety of colors and not expensive.Prang seems to be known for good quality for the price range, although they are definitely not artist quality.

I bought these for a coloring group, not wanting to spend a whole lot on them. They're a step above crayola, and a decent pencil for the price. The would is a decent quality and they're easy to sharpen. The drawback: no color names on the barrel. If you keep track of colors you use on a page, these aren't for you. They're a VERY decent quality for beginners.
