I bought mine in an army surplus store about 15 years ago. Its been used hundreds of times and still makes coffee like you're at home... it does brew a little slow, but it's well worth the buy

Yes, it makes good drip coffee but this thing is huge. Where space in an RV is limited this dominates the kitchen. I needed to take the grate off my cook-top burners for it to fit right. Of three burners I did have access to one for the frying pan. But, the second day I used it the grounds holder popped off when I opened it spilling wet grounds on the carpet. First thing in the morning is not the time for this to happen. Anyway, I did have drip coffee without having to run the generator or wait for my percolator to do it's thing.

We boondock or dry camp a lot in our camper, I used to have to start my generator only to brew our morning coffee. Now I don't need to start it at all! This thing works perfectly! Just put it on a burner, light the burner and in no time the coffee pot begins to brew drop coffee. I plan to use it tent camping on my camp stove this summer as well. Cool product.

We got this product to go camping with but when we got it we cleaned which was easy and tried it the stove. It made the coffee and it tasted just like if you made it out of a regular coffee pot. We so can't wait to go camping with it.
