Material is soft and gives. Thicker will definitely last. May purchase in another color but the black looks nice.

This hat is easy to fold the brim to make it smaller and it will stretch as your kid grows. Great hat!

This hat is very stretchy. My two daughters find it to be comfortable. I machine washed and dried them with no issues.

I love the hat. Washes well. It fits well too. I did buy the toddler size cause it can just be rolled over or there is extra room at the top and i wanted it to last longer. The baby size fit well too, but i decided to purchase the toddler size to allow more use. Great hat.

This has been the perfect beanie all winter and our go to! He wears it all the time. Has washed well and always keep its shape. I do lay to dry. After this we have bought other colors. Stretches well will fit him for awhile!

I gambled and got the youth size instead of the adult size, hoping to mitigate the chef's toque effect that you sometimes get with a large beanie on a small head. It certainly fits more snugly than a full size beanie would, to the extent that it tends to slide backwards off of my head. I'll go for the grown-up one next time to avoid constantly having to tug the hat back down over my ears. Hope this is helpful for anyone on the fence about sizing! Great color, nice and warm, can't knock a classic Carhartt.

Ordered the black and the sizing was completely wrong.. it's so small it doesn't fit my 6m olds head. Ordered again in the same size but brown and it was larger than the first one and fits perfectly somethings up with their sizing so I wouldn't recommend.

I got one for my son and I got the same color for myself in the adult size. I like beanies because they hide my long hair . We are bolth matching and looking like two Carhartt Heart throbs!
