Got for the dog. He carries them in his mouth for walks, and chews on them if we stop to talk to neighbors. They last longer than tennis balls.

My 75lb shepherd mix probably spends only an hour actively chewing on his ball every day, but he has a very strong jaw. We also use it to play fetch. He can break a hollow racquetball-type ball in about 10 minutes of chewing and tennis balls in even less time, so lacrosse balls were a brilliant alternative. The solid vulcanized rubber is safer in terms of chemical leaching (as I understand it), and the ball fits the throwing handle originally intended for a tennis ball. These balls do not float, though. As rubber breaks down when exposed to UV light, I keep the ball inside. Once the ball does begin to break down at about 4 weeks (wear and tear from that strong jaw) small bits will start flaking off, and I usually switch out balls then. I buy these by the case.

Living in Florida on the water we lose a lot of balls to the water during his backyard practice sessions. These are perfect for practice. Feel like true certified lacrosse balls.

I bought these for my dogs actually, and they have held up great! I have aggressive chewers but these balls only have teeth marks to show for all of the abuse they endure. For “tough” balls for dogs, you would be paying double. Will never buy any other kind of balls from here on out.

My dog loves to chew up tennis balls, Kong balls (yep), and just about any other ball we have tried, except for these. He will chew and chew but has never chewed one up. Love them for this purpose.

None of them come as greasers. They have an awful smell. What can you expect they are rubber balls. I just leave them all outside for a few hours.
