Solid bar but thick and the knurling is terrible. I use it for squats and goodmornings. To slippery and thick for deadlifts.

Pretty solid bar for the price. I've had it for about 3 months and use with bumper plates. No issues so far. BTW: the bar is 51.1 inches between the chrome. I also bought a more expensive Rogue bar. So far, I can't tell the difference.

I've had this for several months now and is still in perfect condition. This has been a great addition to my home gym. I use it at least 3 days a week.

Within one week of having this, the entire thing is covered in rust and the surface is already eroding. I clean it everyday, and the next day, it is covered in rust again. Do not buy this.

Well I purchased this bar more than a year ago, and boy has it held up extremely well. It's been outside (covered with a tent but nonetheless outside) in hail, rain, and sunshine all year long. It hasn't rusted one bit, the weights that were on the bar rusted a bit but the bar didn't. It's just as smooth and the bearings don't stick at all. It hasn't bent a bit with about 450+lbs while dead lifting so it's the absolute best.A few things to note, when I received it, it had a thin layer of some type of oil (protective I'd say?) but it was easily wiped off. Also, the knurling's are a bit shallow and I use gym chalk so they sort of fill up quickly but they are also very easily cleaned.

I had a chance to look at 2 bars the Silver Zinc 1500 pound bar and the 1000 pound Black Oxide I wasn't very impressed First of all they are not 28.5 Millimeters but they are 30 millimeters ... The finish on the bars was ok ... but they don't spin very well.... The power rings look like suicide grooves .... I would recommend the Cap OB-86B ... This is a much better bar for the money

I just bought this bar to replace one I bent. I got the silver one with the zinc coating. The two exercises that put the most stress on the bar that I do are deadlifting(about 340lbs in sets), and power cleans(205lbs sets). The first thing I noticed is how much heavier this bar is than my last one. I brought out a scale and weighed it. This bar weighs 45lbs, turns out my last bar advertised as 45lbs only weight 35lbs. If you are replacing a bar this is something to keep in mind, you may want to weigh the bar you currently own. The second thing I noticed is that the bar itself is thicker, not much but enough to notice. It seams thicker than the bars at the gym I go to by a hair. This made deadlifts more difficult. The knurling is very sharp but with little lift, I would describe it as modereate to mild. With the larger diameter, the bar was slipping out of my hands. I took some advice and ditched the old weight lifting gloves I was wearing and I bought some chalk. This solved all my grip problems. If you are working out at home, you owe yourself to at least try some chalk, it made a huge difference in my workout. Now that my grip problems are straightened out, Deadlifts are awesome. This bar has no flex what so ever, even with 340lbs of weight on there. Power cleans were pretty good, no flex isn't as good for power cleans. I prefer a bar that bounces a little. However, I've never had a bar that spun as good as this one. Power cleans are now easier and I can power clean a larger amount of weight. Stopping the bar at the top is easier, I don't hit myself in the chest like I used to every once in a while, I just get under the bar and it stops moving. If you do any olympic movements, this will be revolutionary. The weight literally just shakes a little at the end of a clean, no spinning what so ever, the bar spins the weights do not. Also the sleaves are smooth. this makes putting on and taking weights off very easy.Squats, and lunges seem to be pretty standard stuff. I haven't tried a bench press or overhead press with this bar yet.In review.Pro'sStrong, and inflexible.spins so that the weights do not.sharp knurlingIt weighs 45lbs.Smooth sleeves.Con'sinflexiblelargish diameter.shallow knurling

so far so good, no problems yet, bar knurling isn't too rough, bar is probably 30-31 mm in diameter and definitely 45lbs, not 44 if that's what you're looking for.
