Cool product only complaint is it’s way too LOUD! I’m going to have to purchase a canvas to place under it as it makes ALOT of noise when you punch it

I'm Very happy with BOB. Had two workouts with it so far and it is great. I have a suggestion for you guys. With the hardware to attach the manikin to the stem you should include lock washers. I notice that the screws get loose and fall out. Went to the hardware store and bought six lock washers and solve the problem.

Thank you,
Ivan

Works great as advertised. Material is great quality. When adjusting the heigth you have to mess with it a bit but no big deal.
Two things that held back a 5th star.
The cap did not come with a rubber seal to make sure there are no water leaks when it moves upon sriking.
Also the screws for assembly are large flat head. The threads and inner guide don't line up perfectly so it was difficult getting the screws in with the driver sliding out constantly. One screw just would not go in as the guide and threads were too far off. So I'm using it missing one.
Other than it's a great practice bag.

Great training aid.

Pros = Durable

Cons = Might be hard for some people to move around. The base is heavy when full, but it needs to be.

My best advice would be to beat this thing like it stole $300.00 bucks from you. In my experience I like this over a punching bag. Manly it gives you targets to aim for.

Great tool for practicing martial arts with realistic target areas. The bolts in the back have unscrewed and fallen out a few times. A little annoying to put back in, but manageable. You might consider some thread lock. I filled mine 150 lbs. of pea gravel rather than water which works for me. The only other downside is the large base which gets in the way of your feet for close-in work.

great for practice however is still a posted heavybag (so you don't get shudder) also if you're a weirdo that hits with wraps "because you want to make sure your technique is on point" its rough on your hands. quick fix grease the dummy at least twice a week so if you do get glancing blows it doesn't rip apart your hands

trained at the ymca under sensei mark
blackbelt in whooping that ass

Awesome product, love the life-like features. The only way it may be better is if some models were available with a rubber padding beneath it as this would reduce the noise level and the B.O.B would be more stationary during use.

I love my Bob! But...some of the screw come loose and will even fly off if I get to crazy on it...this last time I tightened them all up as tight as I could but I haven't really gone off on it lately since then.

Very good light weight work out bag. Pro's: Adjustable height. Durable foam and dense. Con's: Can't hit it with a lot of power. Maybe a bit over priced. It is an excellent work out for anyone!

Gives me a workout but I have to admit I only go at it about twice a week. Muscle bound guy so his chest tends to protrude, chin is small and even with the chest so you tend to graze the chest on some facial kicks. Filled base with sand, used refined sand that cost about $1.50 a bag more then play sand, should have used play sand and saved a couple of bucks.

I have used a heavy bag for years and love the workout, but I have to say this is a great supplement to up your training for self defense. The material it's made out of is tough and extremely durable. The lifelike size of the body and the ability to adjust the height is perfect for helping you target your strikes for more lifelike targeting. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is that the whole thing of filling the base with water and the sloshing when you hit it is a little annoying and distracting at times, but honestly this is a great product and I am so glad I bought it.

The material used is kind of rough. You definitely need gloves. Do not let small children play with this in their bare hands.

Was given BOB for Christmas and it's perfect for stress release! I can't stress that enough. : )As others have stated, the base tends to move with every couple of strikes. Filled mine up with water and even after placing 3 rubber mats under the base it still moves requiring readjustment. If it were not for that issue I would have given it 5 stars.Love the ability to quickly adjust the height with a simple twist. Takes a beating pretty well. Quickly began to break the sweat and I'm in pretty decent shape. This will make a great addition to my current workout routine. Sometimes you don't want to do weights or resistance band workouts. Sometimes you just want to throw a few hard swings.Have anger issues ? Get BOBHave anxiety ? Get BOBFeeling destructive ? Get BOBWant to know what it feels like to punch someone bigger than you without consequence ? Get BOBWant to target practice ? Get BOBSomeone pissed you off at work ? Beat up BOB he won't mind. LolYes, it may moveYes, it may be slightly noisy for an apartmentYes, the face could be a little more stiff. But there is nothing like giving BOB a beating and releasing all your stress!I practice enhance meditation techniques and this is more fun. LolMeditation has it's place but so does releasing all that extra energy you don't know what to do with. I literally wake up feeling calm and refreshed in the morning. My sleep improved because of this product and I noticed that the first day.

I love this product, it's a great workout punching Bob. Filled with sand it does move some, but not much, on a concrete floor. My only issue is that it was not shipped with a cap for the base (to cover where you fill the base). I contacted century and was informed I had to purchase a cap, when I had already paid over $200 for the item!

I'm a big, lumbering, 6'4, 270 pounder. Not 'quick' by any means, but I do throw very hard punches that move mountains.Watched a few videos of this on youtube, average sized guys working it hard and the BOB unit wasn't budging. There were also some videos of guys 'showing off' at how presumably harcore they were for knocking one over with a huge running kick. Could it truly be stable enough to withstand repeated, full power striking from a heavyweight? I was really hoping that to be the case, since I live in an apartment and a 'rocking back and forth' base wouldn't be acceptable to downstairs neighbors.Got it, filled it with a water/sand mixture for max weight (it is heavy as heck) but intuitively I just wasn't seeing it staying put to a hard punch, given the mechanical advantages involved with that narrow and round base, the long, tall body unit. Sure enough, no sooner than I laid a medium straight right on it, the base instantly tilted up from the floor and the whole unit started wobbling pretty good, which probably sounded like thunder to the poor people downstairs.Still, that aside, I do rate this pretty high.I now use it more for speed type work and striking accuracy practice that doesn't involve hitting hard enough to move the base, then just use a heavy bag at the gym for power striking. The result of having this in my living room and using it for striking accuracy is that my striking accuracy has gotten insanely better. So, overall, 4 stars of 5. I deduct the one star since I think they should probably be a bit more forthcoming with the facts for us big guys, if you're over 200 and/or a powerful striker you're going to wobble it but as a training tool, it's pretty damn good.
