The light on the hat works well. It's not a focused light but more of a flood light. I've used it for trips up to the barn and to get wood from the wood pile. It's rechargeable which is nice. You can feel the light on your forehead but it's not heavy or uncomfortable. Lastly the hat functions at its most basic level and that is it keeps your head warm.

I LOVE THIS!!!!! When I walk my dogs at night I can now see where I'm walking. We don't have sidewalks and I have Vertigo so you see how this would be beneficial! This cap is so WONDERFUL I can't emphasize enough how much it helped me with getting around the terraine

I live where it's cold and dark in the winter. A lighted hat is handy for walking, shoveling searching for items in poorly lit places. I like being able to easily recharge the battery for the light. Saved me a lot compared to buying regular batteries. I got a few different colors
