I am 60 and have not worked in the automotive field in 30 years. When steps to have vales closed to clean aluminum metal shaving by blowing out cylinder are correctly performed, and locking lube used on incert to head used, this was easy and straight forward process. Worked to repair stripped threads easily. And that was on cylinder 3 toward back of head.

I used this kit and it was extremely easy to use. Literally just put the air hose in that spark plug hole and bump the starter until the air hose comes out to ensure valves are closed. Rheem the hole, blow it out, rethread the hole, blow it out, brake clean, repeat until you are certain all shavings are out of the hole. Put 271 red loctite on the insert, anti seize the spark plug, and torque to 22 ft lbs. Retorqued other plugs to 17 ft lbs. Instructions were clear. Way worth it. If you are contemplating, don't. Just buy the kit. It works.
