If it starts to rattle, as mine did after 3 years of constant use, you just pop off the fan blade, add a drop of sewing machine oil down the shaft and it's fixed. So great. I just bought another one because they are also amazingly easy to clean, unlike my previous fans.

I plugged this in right away and was so PLEASED that I eill be getting another one for My other room. It pushed quite a bit of air for such a small fan. Its absolutely QUIET which makes Me happy. It wont cut fingers off. Its extremely STURDY and stays in place, im thrilled

Blades do not hurt to touch, may startle you. Fan is great for desk, can move air fast and be felt as far as 7 to 10 feet away. Better airflow that the Vornado Zippi Personal Fan. Like the Vornado, this must be plugged into the wall as it does not use batteries. This fan the Chinook is more expensive than Vornado Zippi but is worth it!

I've bought 6-8 of these over the years and haven't found anything better in this size. Best feature is the safety blades that stop when touched, but it's still quite strong and they last years even with constant use.

I had bought a similar fan from this company over 20 years ago and it still works. I found the same one in white and I love it! It's so quiet and so powerful and it looks great too! My friend loved it so much, he bought one too and is as happy as I am!

i like air moving in my house so I have one in the kitchen, two in my bedroom, one in each bathroom and one in my den. They travel easily and take up very little room in a suitcase, and they make a big difference in a warm room.

Powerful, small fan. I like fan noises to sleep with and this little thing isn’t loud at all (so I actually play a sound machine on my phone). It has 2 settings, low and high and both are very nice. High isn’t too high to sleep with at night even when we sleep in 65 at night. We just traveled this past weekend and I brought the fan with me and it traveled well. It has plastic blades so it doesn’t hurt if you touch it. I’m really happy with this fan.

I saw these in West Marine a long time ago finally bought one. I was a tiny bit irritated when I first plugged it as there was vibration but as kind of expected after running for a few minutes the centrifugal force I guess evened out the plastic blade. This will save me electricity, first night I used it wile sleeping I got up to turn off the AC , I was cold.
