Man, this thing was as smooth as silk. Using some oil I purchased at the same time, I could not hear this thing scoring the glass. When I held the glass up and looked at, it was scored perfectly and the glass parted with minimal effort. Works like a dream.

cuts with ease, the handle grip is great, no slippage. haven't had any glass break or wasted. probably the best cutter for the price, half as much as the big chain craft stores charge. good weight to it as well.

I've been cutting glass for years. I've used diamond tip cutters, other carbide wheel ones, etc. and I like this one very much. I use it mainly to cut glass for picture frames. The large flat sides enclosing the wheel allow me to very accurately glide along the T-square I use for cutting straight lines. It cuts a perfect line with minimal pressure. I don't know how it would be for Stained Glass but for my purposes it it excellent. ps. I don't use oil.

Hard to tell if this is a replica or just old Japanese stock, but for the price it sure is worth it!! After using Home Depot bought cutters and having disastrous results. I decided to get something better, the Toyo brand kept coming up with 5 stars. Im only giving this product 4 due to the fact that however wonderful a tool it is, they could have enlarged the blunt side with a lager steel ball like the original instead of the form factor bolt that's there now. Either way, it works like a charm. :)
