I purchased this set from another site but i beleive these are of the same make, i can attest to the sturdiness of the peices however, my brother brought home a cat that keeps jumping on the board and knocking the peices to the ground repeatedly and not one peice has broken thus far.

Love this chess set. My only issue is the hot glue gun strings left on the bottom of the set used for the Dino's. For the money that shouldn't be the case but.. it's still cool as Heck.
