CHAMBERLAIN 893Lm -3 Button Remote Control, Price/Each

Our new garage door and Chamberlain opener came with only one remote, as these new opening systems are built around WiFi control. That's fine, but if you don't have your phone with you, or are on a bike, for example, a hand held remote is very convenient. So when I saw the replacement remotes are available, and they look just like mine, I tried them out. Glad to say they programmed easily and work well. You do need to follow the simple directions, but with that precaution they work as advertised. I haven't done comparison shopping, so can't speak to the cost value.

We have an older chamberlain door, and a newer one that I installed. For some reason, the old remotes wouldn't work with the new door, so we always had to keep 2 remotes in one of our vehicles so that we could open both doors when needed. I got these remotes to consolidate our garage door openers. Now my 2 kids, my wife and I all have just 1 remote in the car. The programming on the newer chamberlain door was a breeze since it is all performed at the door opener. The older one I had to push the yellow button on the door for programming. These are a great replacement for the original, and I wouldn' t hesitate recommending to others.

Took me two minutes max, to program this to replace my old garage door opener. Works like a charm. I was so happy!! Well made; the strong holding clip on the back attaches to my visor and stays put. Just one push of the button and the door opens/closes. It does have 3 buttons for different doors, if you have a 1, 2, or 3 car garage, which is a really nice feature. Great quality product.

Outstanding value for this two pack of openers! Using them on an overhead at my office. Using them with a Chamberlain LiftMaster from 2011 with the purple learn button. Both remotes programmed on the first try. Each remote can control 3 garage doors. They come with metal clips for visor mounting. Having two allows me to have one in my car and one in my truck so I don't have to keep switching where the remote is, or forgetting altogether. Great deal and I'm very happy with them! They work great and the price is phenomenal!

These are awesome. I have 2 openers, one LiftMaster and the other Craftsman, both red button generation (just over 20 years old). Programming is more complicated than the OEM remotes, you'll need to follow the instructions that come with the remotes. I got the 2-pack of remotes and both programmed to both my openers, and they work perfectly. The main difference to programming is you have to press and hold IIIII until the LED blinks, then press the desired button to program a specific amount of times to set the opener type (based on opener learn button color), wait for the LED to confirm, then continue as normal. The fact that you need to set the opener type for every button indicates each button can be individually programmed for different generations of openers which is a pretty cool feature OEM remotes can't do. I didn't need to try this as both of mine are red button openers, but good to know if I ever need to replace an opener. These are similar size to the visor clip remotes that came with my opener. The style is different, but they resemble the newer Liftmaster/Craftsman OEM remotes. The buttons have a nice tactile feel. The red LED indicator is a welcome addition, as my OEM remotes had no LED and I never knew if it was a bad battery, I didn't push hard enough, or not working for some other reason. At least with this, I can look at the LED and know if it's at least attempting to transmit something. Adding these remotes didn't remove any existing remotes from my openers. These remotes are great, price is very reasonable, I highly recommend them.
