CAT P90284 Men's Black/Black Streamline Composite Toe Shoe

I really want to like them but as other reviews have stated, there were just issues right out of the box that make these very uncomfortable. Mainly two that made me remove and return within a minute of trying these one.<br />1. The toe box is way too narrow and when you step, your big toe gets pushed in, I could never deal with that.<br />2. Also in the toe box, there are textures and lines that relate to the exterior of the shoe that mirror themselves inside the shoe that you can feel with your toes and this makes for it to be very uncomfortable.<br /><br />I will say as a normal 9.5, they were slightly large and I know sometimes when you have the right size, some of these issues get better but I don't believe that to be the case with these, no matter the size, these two things will make for a very unpleasant experience.<br /><br />Also side not, each shoe weighs 1.10 lbs compared to a athletic sneaker at .65 lbs and comparing to a low top timberland steel toe boot at 1.3 lbs. I am trying to find the lightest, most comfortable safety toe shoe, so I've been weighing the ones I've been trying, just fyi

A bit awkward and somewhat &#34; heavy &#34;

Wore them for about 15 minutes, then put them back in the box. Shoes were light for a safety shoe. Basically, they just were painful to walk in.. Size was fine. The safety toes hurt the tops of my feet and the soles were terribly uncomfortable on the outsides of my feet.

Pro, they look good and main shoe part fits (was actually wide).<br /><br />Con, toe seems like they make them as one size fits all sizes (or maybe they make one toe and it goes in both left and right shoe).<br /><br />Tried them on the day they arrived and the 2nd day. After 10 minutes each day, pain on the big toes would start would start from the rubbing. Know if I try to wear them for a day, the toes would have blisters.<br /><br />I gave them 2 stars, just for the looks and fit of the main shoe body.<br /><br />Needless to say, they are on their way back, after only having them 24 hours.

not true to size.. too narrow for 2E

Seriously uncomfortable shoes. The footbed is like concrete and the insoles that come with them are very thin. I tried buying better insoles which helped but after a few hours they hurt. Also you can't have too thick of an insole otherwise the toe gets cramped. I guess I should of bought the next size up but they don't make a 12 1/2. The only way for me to test them was to wear them to work and now that I wore them to work I can't return them. I should of bought the timberlands for the same price. The fact they call these a running shoe is laughable. They feel no where near a running shoe. My composite toe rocky's boots that I wear all winter are 10x more comfortable and cost less.
