When I built my lathe table I needed to have some dust extraction so I cut a hole in the top of the table behind the lathe and installed this fitting from underneath. My 4 hose connects to the fitting and draws the chips and dust away to my chip / sawdust bin. It was a perfect fit for my need.

The diameter to the port is too small. Measures to 3 13/16....that's too small for a 4 tube even with a clamp in the port is mounted downward (which is why these have an angle on them). All my other dust ports in my shop measure to 3 15/16 which is a much better fit. You'll need to mount these pointing up or you'll need to tape the port to bring the diameter closer to a full 4.

I had a dryer hose that kept dislodging from the pipe in the wall. With this product, I was able to anchor the hose more securely in place and stop the annoying practice of moving the dryer to reseat the hose.

Installed this on a panel under my table saw connecting to my dust collector. Angle is perfect and my hose fit on it exactly.

I turned my lathe into a 9 disk sander so it would do double duty. My shop is plumbed with drops to major equipment. I share the dust hose from my drum sander, planner and now this disk sander. This particular 4" dust port is a bit small, and required a few wrappings with electrical tape to get a fit with the mating hose. Overall a good product."

Great for making custom floor sweep for my garage shop dust collector at my lathe. I used some plywood, and cut out the holes necessary and proper clearance for where I wanted it. I also added one of rockler's dust rite quick connect boots that I use with my dust collection setup

The plastic is what you would expect but seems brittle. Mine fell off the edge of my 34 work serface and one corner of the 'mounting' section cracked.Overall, this is a great product!"
