The pump works well, but the filter doesn't work as well as I would've like. The filter needs to be removed and cleaned frequently. It rapidly clogs.

I went thru many pond pumps before finding this one. With the magnetic motor there no gears to freeze up and this survived the duck pond in the winter so even if it only lasts a year in happy with it and ordered a back up

I got this May 1, 2022....it worked great to move water and filter and 70 gallon or so tank. I liked it even better than the Marineland Magnum which costs well over twice as much. It had a nice strong flow, but by end of October barely anything flows out of it even though it is clean and has a fresh filter. Bummed. I also paid $26 at the time, now it cost $39! I will try to reach out to the co as I would think it would have at least a year warranty. The company has a lot of reviews about how it quit 3-6 mo out, so they should fix this or no one will want to buy. People are sick of throwaway pumps. Wasteful.

I have about a 75 gallon little fish pond and this does a GREAT job keeping water crystal clear. I took advise from another review and hose off the sponge every few days..literally takes 1 min to do so..and pond water is 100 perfect
