Good safe. Lots of room but could use more padding to hold items in place. Fingerprint opening is great but is not completely reliable. I would not want to depend on that function in an emergency

So I saw reviews before I purchased this, with people saying the finger print reader didn't work and was only using a heat signature. Unless their safe was broken, I think there are some people out there who need to learn to read instructions fully and clearly, before they make an ignorant review. This safe is great so far, and feels more sturdy than I thought. It's large (larger than I expected) and currently is holding my FNP-45 with some room to spare. I do wish the finger print pad was a little bigger, if you don't have your finger just right it won't work until you position it quickly. Both my wife and I now have our finger prints set and works great, and I have little to no fear of my almost 4 year old gaining access. This is a much better solution then having a loaded gun in the underwear drawer. I would recommend.
