I like this unusual product! I used to get it in my small town grocery for 4.99 a can. They recently stopped carrying it, so I'm now paying over 11.00 for the same product. Not a good thing; will buy once in a while.

This product is the same as the brown bread that I had regularly on Saturday for dinners all during my childhood. Hot dogs or hamburger with baked beans was the regular meal. When my mom added BM Brown Bread with raisins, it became a special occasion. We always spread butter on steamed slices and served it with either small pea beans or kidney beans.
