Well the image is deceiving; the runes are not that big or dark. Truthfully the runes look nothing like the picture but despite that the runes are beautiful, but smaller. Great for a starter kit.

My only complaint with this item, and the reason I rate it as 4 instead of 5 stars, was the amount of time that the item took to arrive. The expected arrival date actually moved to a later time than what was originally estimated when I purchased the item. However, I'm very happy with the product itself. The stones are of a very even size (actually more consistent than the set shown in the picture), and they slightly larger than I expected, about 1/2" X 1". The pouch they arrived in is of mediocre quality, however I ordered this product for the stones, not the bag, and one can easily replace it with a higher quality pouch.

The set is gorgeous. Very happy with them! They came in a nice drawstring black velvet bag which I was not expecting. Love them.
