This wire is perfect for outdoor speakers, low voltage lighting, and many other outdoor or direct burial applications. The cable features a specially formulated black PVC jacket that is UV resistant and the inner layer water blocking tape helps provided protection against water damage while the foil shield blocks out interference. The CL3 rating meets the needs for in wall installations.

This wire is perfect for outdoor speakers, low voltage lighting and many other outdoor or direct burial applications. The cable features a specially formulated black polyethylene jacket that is UV resistant and provides protection against water damage. Use the nylon rip cord to split the jacket but make sure you protect the exposed inner conductors with UV rated water-resistant tape, heat shrink, or silicon products. The audiophile grade wire contains 65 strands of oxygen free copper conductors. The high strand count provides improved skin effect. The total diameter of the cable with both inner conductors and the polyethylene black jacket is 0.291" (7.4 mm).
To keep your signal interference free this Audtek outdoor burial cable includes a 125% over lapping Mylar aluminum foil. It also has a 30 AWG copper drain wire that attaches to a ground source if needed.
