Exactly what I was looking for, but is more of an off white rather than white. I have three much brighter white ones installed when my garage was built, this is more of an off white or very light gray.

Good quality product. Installation suggestion: if you have vinyl siding as mine: is 3 sections with 3 in each with 0.5 in thickness, this product will work, but you will have two 1-in gaps (1 on each side) to fill with caulk. I put insulation foam behind the holes before installation so that the caulk has something to grab on.I lined up the product with the hole of electrical wires so that I know which knock-out hole on the product to break off. Otherwise I might break off the wrong hole.

Replaced a set of traditional brass sconces with similar. Each had a stretched octagonal backplate and required a 9 tall standard grade siding mount plate. The home builder had used an improper-sized wood plaque and shallow box combo (which looked like crap). These heavy resin-plastic plates replaced the crap, secured firmly to the siding wall with heavy included wood screws, and allowed me to affix the lamp mounting plate directly to these plates with two other included screws. So easy. No paint needed. Probably too costly to be frank, but hey they worked without driving me nuts. Couldn't find anything like them in the local builder supply stores. Good product.

Awesome product easily customized to fit different siding. Fast and a good finish product have use two dozen in my past.. never a problem with any of them

I haven't had the time to install it due to the fact that I have to alter the mount to fit my siding. The mount is made well and seemed the closest fit, colour and shape I required. It seems sturdy and NOT some flimsy cheap plastic.<br /><br />To those who think this mount should fit their siding out of the box without measuring, are out to lunch! Remember, there are different sizes, profiles and types of siding. Don't give it 1 or 2 stars because you just didn't check... you might as well just go make your own mount with popsicle sticks and duct tape!<br /><br />I gave it 4 stars because I tried a Hail Mary and hoped it would fit, all the while knowing I most likely had to cut it up. If it had fit out of the box, it would have been a miracle and 5 stars all day long.

Product was the perfect solution. Two things that I would note: 1) I purchased 3 and only 1 package came with mounting screws. 2) If you're like me, you may be retro-fitting these into a previous mount; that being the case it would have been nice to have some built in wall anchors with this box; otherwise you will have to create some new holes to screw through your siding.<br /><br />Overall, good product and did the job.

Would you believe these siding mounting blocks actually worked. They fit the siding and make my hack jobs look like I know what I doing. have so many ways to mount and so many holes, they make it easy, even for me.
