great build quality and the ratchet is very nice. it doesn't have any large diameter fine thread dies though, so I might need to buy them separately some day.

There is no mechanics that actually like to use tap and die, but when you have to its nice to use a good set. I bought this set, because I already own a Snap On set that is in standard size. This set , like most GearWrench tools, are well worth the cost. The quality in this set actually is better than my Snap On.

I snapped a 10mm tap the first time I used it. I was shocked at how little Force I was putting on It when it snapped. I've used a cpl other sizes with no problem. The ratchet handle is very nice so I'm hoping the broken tap was a fluke.
