The cloche lid works, but the stand has a slight curve making the seal imperfect. I am just using the top on my counter and it protects from all bugs, etc. The stand is pretty but did not keep the seal.

Well made, pretty BUT the cover is very, very heavy!!! Not liking that it is so heavy and wish it would fit the bottom better but I will adjust to it. Might be a issue for elderly or someone like me who has had rotator cuff repaired as the weight is not easy to use for us....
