It was really an easy install. Make sure you have a water pressure gauge which I screwed onto the outside spigot to get the pressure. My pressure was 50 psi, I checked the tank and it was 40 psi, so I used a bicycle pump on the shraeder valve to bring it to 50 psi. Make sure when you install the new tank you use at least 3-4 layers of teflon tape. I used 1 layer and it leaked so I had to remove it, and put on more layers of tape and no leaks. It really is an easy job and I saved a lot of money vs. having a plumber come in and do it. I suggest you watch a few youtube videos. You will need large size adjustable wrench to get the existing unit off and do the final turn on the new one. You need to turn the water off in the house and then drain the cold line by turning on a facet or two to do so. One warning: there is still water in the line when you take the old tank off, you will get wet! Have some towels and small bucket to catch some water.

Unfortunately I followed the Amtrol guideline to size the unit, and it turns out to be too small. I just ordered a ST-12. I have a 2 week old Amtrol ST-5 available!
