Hip Abduction Orthosis provides firm support and stabilization for non-operable hip disorders and postoperative, primary or revision total hip arthroplasty. Moisture-wicking neoprene padding. Patent-pending "infinite range" hip joint is the only hinge that provides infinite adjustability from -5° to 25° abduction, critical to correct bio-mechanical fitting. Flexion and extension ROM adjustable, too. Pelvic posterior panel features pivoting adjustment mechanism that eliminates need for male and female versions. Lightweight. Easy on and off.
Note: Pelvic and Thigh Components sold separately to accommodate various body types. You must purchase Pelvic and Thigh Components and Joint for complete Hip Abduction Orthosis.
Sizing for Pelvic Component, measure waist and hip circumference. Fits male and female.
Small: Waist circ. 28" - 32"
Medium: Waist circ. 32" - 36"
Large: Waist circ. 36" - 40"

Sizing for Thigh Component, measure proximal and distal thigh circumference.

This brace is nice very light weight for a woman who can maybe even wear sandals again! Yeppie !! I wear a 9 ish size womans wide ordered the large....will have to trim off some of the sole part...need very sharp scissors for this job butdo-able.....the top velcro strap does not have the buckle on the opposite lateral side to weave thru which I'm sure if you have a history of wearing braces know about...Those that have that buckle helps keep thestrap in place....However a trip to your local old fashion Shoe Maker shop can probably help with trimming the sole and putting a buckle on for you.....very light weight trim and great to be able to weara more fashionable shoe other than sneakers all the time......fair price.....good luck!

I was skeptical because MS of the drop foot afos that were like what they gave me at the med clinic where $300.00 pulse but I tried this one and love it. Gait is better than with carbine fiber ones and driving is a lot better i can feel peddles. Strap falls down but I took the band and Velcro stickers off one of my cracked afos and stays up. Love it with easy mods.

Works ok and fits under your pant legs nicely, keeping itself private. Strap loosens a bit after wearing a while, but other than that ok for drop foot. Feels safe to wear on stairs.

Works well but difficult for one person to install. My heal catches the bottom of the upper opening making it difficult to install bu myself. Need assistance to pull AFO back to let heal pass.

Sucks it constantly slides up and down not secure. The single strap doesn't do very well at all. If I could return it I would but since I have worn it to try it probably can't. Get one that secures your ankle to it ! Otherwise its a waist of money like this one.
