It's on our mailbox to collect rent. However, if you do not fold envelop in half you can reach in and pull it out of slot hole without unlocking it.

Got this as a donation box for my course. The baffle could offer a bit more room between it and the back wall. Hard to get bills past and into bottom chamber.

I bought this to leave at the end of my driveway to sell firewood. So far it has worked well. Clearly if someone wanted to pry the thing loose from the tree it's mounted on they could. That said, it comes with 4 pre-drilled screw holes in the back of it, so it can be mounted securely. The lid is sloped to shed water and it's relatively weatherproof. The lock mechanism is decent quality and it comes with 2 keys. The one reason for not giving it 5 stars is that one of rivets in the lid hinge was loose and rattling around in the box when it arrived. I was easily able to repair the box using a small sheet metal screw, but not everyone will have one of those handy, let alone a rivet setter. It still would have worked without the repair but the loose fit could have invited someone to tear it all the way off.

This key box is great quality and works for what I needed at work. It is very sturdy even with all the guys at work that are so rough on everything. I would highly recommend this.

Not sure what they mean by sheerness? We are happy with product. Hubby bolted it to a heavy table and it has saved us having someone helping themselves to the money in our coffee can with removable lid.

Works great for an on-your-honor produce stand that I have. Money is kept dry and it is as secure as it needs to be. I have had a few dollars held up on the top baffle, but it hasn't been a huge problem as I check the box daily.

This item is good if you are certain all envelopes will be similar size. We have a 6 unit building and this box does not always accommodate the six envelops securely. One of our tenants insists on mailing their monthly rent check because they fear the envelope can be taken from the box.

Arrived with a missing rivet, but it was an easy fix with our rivet gun. Super easy to install, night bright color, hinges move freely.
