Heavy enough that you're able to shape the brim a bit. My dogs can drink out of it if need be. Plenty large for my big head. I wear a dew rag unite a bit and combining both is one of the most comfortable combinations I've found.

Adams brand hats are often embroidered and used as promotional items. Thus was the case for my husband's 50 Prep school reunion in 2005. He has worn that hat for 16 years! It has been through the washing machine dozens of times. It has traveled with him all over the world. But, alas, the hat tore right where the custom embroidery was. A new hat was ordered, delivered quickly, and was absolutely the same sturdy quality of his first hat. He hopes to get another 20 years out of this one!

wear them for driving and golf and outdoors instead of my usual baseball style hat. Very comfortable and - unlike baseball hat - keeps my ear tops from getting burned.
