These AKG Pro Audio K371 Headphones are simply great for my use while creating Podcasts and during Live Streams and Zoom Meetings.I wasn't looking for audiophile ears as these are primarily used for voice alone, and not for music. For my purpose, the headphones work extremely well and are ergonomic and comfortable. They provide excellent voice reproduction and mitigate outside background noise.Foldable for storage and lightweight while wearing. Over-ear pads that fit well.I am very pleased with this purchase and they simply work perfectly for my uses. They earn an easy FIVE STARS for me, and warrant my honest recommendation for the uses mentioned. I cannot comment on whether they would be appropriate for music listening or instrumental studio use, but for my use...they are outstanding.

All was fine until the head band snapped. Electronics are worthless if the hardware fails. Apparently just plastic. Pretty much only used on Sunday for recording Church service... 6-7 months.

Using these for about a month now to write/mix music on PC. The added bass frequency response, compared to many other headphones, is noticeable but not overpowering. While the sound does seem “darker” than I am used to, it is not lacking in detail. Perhaps the best way to describe it is that the sound has some space in it so it isn't just blowing into your ears. These are not intended to be noise cancelling, but they do a better job of shielding noise than other closed back headphones I have used. These are recommended by many articles to be the best in their price range and from my experience so far I am greatly satisfied. I do worry about the quality of material, only because other headphones I have had ended up falling apart. There is nothing about these that appears to be poorly made, but one month is not long enough to speak to the durability.

Overall sound quality is great. However, my headband broke after a little over a year of use. I treated them nicely. These were my PC headphones, so they never left my office. I took very good care of them, yet they snapped at the hinge after I picked them up to put them on one night.

After a year of having these headphones, dont reccomend. The earpads have gotten so worn out that I had to purchase third party pads for them (since akg doesnt sell these or offer them). In addition, the sound on the left side of the headphones has gone slighty quieter than the other.Overall, I dont have any plans on purchasing further akg products, until they step up their builds. At the moment, I just have these as backup for zoom meetings.
