VACOcast Diabetic Boot, Large:
The VACOcast Diabetic Boot provides the most comfort and stability out of all the VACO series. It is excellent for patients who want an all-in-one product option that does not also require a cast and walker. It features vacuum technology for successful wound healing due to pressure relief. Bead-filled inserts act as a vacuum cushion as it molds to the user's foot like plaster casting to offload heel ulcers. It then re-molds per each fitting allowing for easy wound inspection. Simplifying treatments for medical professionals. The toe of the boot is covered to protect neuropathic feet from debris entering the boot. The rocker sole gives better pressure distribution. With the additional foam insole for added shock absorption and additional offloading. The low friction wicking synthetic velour liner is also gentler compared to regular treatment boots. Perfect for patients who have any indications of diabetes such as Diabetic Foot Syndrome, ulcerations on the foot, Diabetic neuro-osteoarthropathy, DNOAP and Charcot foot, or post-operative care after toe amputations. Both the sole and liners are removable and washable for an easier time when cleaning. The large fits Men's shoe sizes 10.5 through 15 and Women's shoe sizes 11.5 through 14. Please note, if you are in between sizes, it is generally recommended that you choose the smaller size.

I bought the other light gray one with the toe cover first. That's the only thing about it I liked though. This one works better for me because it's not as heavy and it has a strap at the top. The other one which is more expensive doesn't do I felt like I moved around in it too much.I ordered ski boot covers made of neoprene that fit nicely over the front of the boot to keep my toes warm in air conditioning also clean and dry outside. They worked much better that the booties the sell for them. They are only useful inside the house so you don't track in dirt. But they will fall apart quick if you use them outside.This boot inflated well also. And easily released pressure when I wanted it to while seated. Quicky inflated with a twist of the button and a few squeezes of the blue bulb.I wear a size 7.5 wide women's shoe and the small worked well for me. Make sure to sit your foot all the way back. It comes with extra cushions for the top of your foot at the bend.

Easy to put on and take off. Comfortable to wear and walk. Can be worn under loose fitting jeans or pants.
