The subject matter could have made for a good book. Unfortunately, the author is a badge heavy, chip on her shoulder feminist who doesn't write very well.

This book was interesting in the way I felt about it as I went along. At first, I really loved it. And though the format and writing style didn't change, I found that I was avoiding reading it. It has a way of feeling toxic, gradually. The negativity starts to wear on you. I ended up giving up after about halfway through. Too bad. She should have balanced out the good and the bad.

You will enjoy the story - IF - you can get past the author's massive ego. There are parts of the book that appear more like a romance (describing male anatomy) longingly. As I've been told (by someone who actually worked with the author - 34;There's a lot in that book that didn't happen that way.34; You'll spend a lot of time reading this book and rolling your eyes.
