Nice looking product, but the spin feature doesn't work as expected, so you still have to twist the mop with your hands to get rid of the water.
Had to return it.

I've been using the original Spin Mop since introduced and loved it! This system has issues; 1) Awkward to carry, if you lift by one of he handles it will spill, I've done it twice, SO FRUSTRATING! 2) You have to disengage the mop because it spins unlike the original Spin Mop. 3) If you don't have the mop in the straight position it will not spin in the bucket and every time you rinse it you have to disengaged it. 4) The mop itself feels flimsy, while using it felt like the plastic was rubbing on the floor.

I'M SORRY I PURCHASED THIS ITEM!

I read a review in This Old House, and was compelled to give this a try. Having owned several of the cheaper variety spin-mops - this looked like a dream come true. Very slick operation. Well designed package. However, the drain is set to work with spring force and the housing is plastic and all the tension is held down by 2 small screws. Mine arrived in pieces. Everything was there, but the drain assembly had come apart. One of the screws failed, or the plastic got stripped during assembly. I reset the the screw and the drain functions, but there is no confidence in its durability. A poor design in an otherwise excellent product. Any manual drain plug at the base would have sufficed. Unnecessarily complicated, and that compromises its reliability.

It's not a bad mop and works as advertised except for one significant flaw: The mop head fabric is flimsy and too small. This allows the circular mop head to scrape against the floor and marking it up when you mop. Fix the mop head fabric and you'd be perfect.

We have multiple dogs in the house with a tile floor, and this mop system did make cleaning the floors easier. But after 8 months of use, the metal spin drying mechanism sticks so that you cannot spin the mop dry without great difficulty. Plus the mop itself sticks so that it won't spin properly. My Casabella mop system is now useless. One of the biggest problems I experienced was that you cannot buy just the mop separately. So if your mop breaks (easy to do when trying to replace the mop head), your entire system becomes worthless. I like the mop, but am going to look at other spin mops or else go back to my old, trusty squeeze mop and utility room sink.
