I really like this board for serving meats and cheeses and/or breads...it is really great for that purpose. It is a little to thin and light to use as a regular cutting board, but that's not why I purchased it.

This square paddle board is absolutely perfect for entertaining. It’s very classy looking without being gaudy. I feel like it will match most food spreads while entertaining. The wood stain is very nice, fairly neutral. The tangerine-painted handle is lovely, as well. The tangerine matches absolutely nothing in my house, but it looks great with the color of the wood stain and I think it’ll be just fine. The board itself is very high quality and I have no doubt that it will hold up for quite some time. Make sure not to use it as a cutting board, though… like someone in my house thought. I can’t wait to use this for Thanksgiving and Christmas entertaining next year.

I use this as a cheese, cracker, and grape platter for parties, as well as everyday cutting, and I love it. It is constructed well, and the color has a rich grain when oiled. The dipped handle gives added color, but I would have preferred it with a natural wood finish.

I only handwash this with a mild soap, and do add mineral or olive oil to it each time. The first few times I washed it I did notice I had to add more, but since them a light coat has only been needed.

The board is a decent size, and for a party of 8, held plenty of cheese and crackers without having to fill it every twenty minutes. For the price, the size and quality is what I would expect, and would make a gorgeous gift.

This is a really nice looking serving board that is easy to store and easy to use. The handles are leather and provide an easy way to store the board (we store it in the pantry hanging by a small hook). It is also easy to clean and very easy to carry around once you have whatever you want to serve properly arranged on the board. We have used it for several parties and even just hanging out in our backyard and really like it.

Rich wood color like the picture. I currently have it on display veritically on my shelf behind Rae Dunn pieces and the contrast is nice.

The ironwood gourmet serving board is a fabulous addition to my kitchen! It is made of smooth Acacia wood plank and accentuated with leather handles. The Acacia wood is beautiful with natural grain and the handles remove for easy cleaning. The beautiful wood provides a great backdrop for fruit and cheese, appetizers, or even as a table centerpiece with candles and other decorative items. After using it, I do not have anything negative to say. This platter will definitely be the center for my holiday gatherings.

Gourmet is an understatement when it comes to naming this board, this is absolutely stunning. The natural look of the wood along with the sturdy leather handles makes this a fabulous serving board. We have used this as a table top display, for cocktail/wine service, a cheese board, and as a carving station. The uses are endless for something like this.

The quality of the piece is fantastic. I was initially a little bit concerned about cleaning however, the instructions are very clear and a bit of research will help you keep this in excellent condition. This is a piece I will have for many years to come.

My favorite part of this are the handles. It offers a nice touch of masculinity when serving certain items that other boards don't offer. My second favorite part of this are the compliments that I receive when I use this. Friends and family both have swooned over the elegance that this brings to the table.

This is a beautiful addition to your kitchen.

Our older go-to cheese board was looking like it had been through a couple of wars and it was time to put it out to pasture (or at least not put out for company) so this Ironwood Gourmet Square Paddle Board couldn't have shown up at a better time.

Made of Acacia hardwood, the board has an ample 13" x13" (not counting the handle) surface looks equally attractive on either side with an easy to grip accent handle that has a large grommet so you can hang it up when not in use, instead of it taking up valuable counter space.

The wood, which is a non-endangered species and is not harvested from rain forests cleans easily with a quick rinse with soapy water, then wiped dry. You may want to occasionally apply a coating of butcher block oil so the board won't dry out.

Although you could easily use it as a cutting board or bread board, we've been using it mainly for cheese assortments and have gotten a number of nice comments whenever we bring it out.

Beautiful and durable. This board is well crafted and delivers simple warmth and elegance that only natural wood can offer. It has been a centerpiece on our table every day. We simply love to put things on it. I have not used this as a cutting board, only a serving board to put hot tea pots, chocolate and cold cuts on it. It is a beautiful useful piece in our daily lives.

The wood on this cutting board is so beautiful that I hesitate to use this as a standard cutting board. Also, the small size (just 13 x 13 inches) isn’t great for chopping fruits/veggies for cooking purposes. I think this would be best as a nice cheese board for parties and gatherings. That is what I use it for, and I’ve received several compliments. I think this would also be a nice gift for a chef/entertainer. Anyone who likes to throw parties could use this, and it works in casual and fancy settings.

I love this all-natural serving board. It's made of sturdy acacia wood and black leather handles. It reminds me of Viking serving platters! It's the perfect size for a cheese platter or charcuterie assortment. It would also serve nicely as a breadboard. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a groove around the perimeter so roasts are out of the question since the juices would make a mess. It's easy to wash and store. It's a bit expensive but acacia is imported from Africa or Australia. It makes for a beautiful striated product that will be an heirloom, at least in my family.

This is the board that I reach for time and time again, for both mise en place and for serving. It is generously sized and the wood makes for a beautiful presentation when using to serve. The tangerine handle adds a little pizazz to this beautiful board and allows for easy hanging to dry or to store. Easy to clean and the wood is beautiful enough to look distinguished. Highly recommend.

Really nice, so pretty you don't want to use it as a cutting board! Would make an excellent gift with cheeses, salami & crackers! The colors in it are lovely, you can make them "pop" by lightly oiling the board. I am featuring it on my dessert table this holiday season with my nut breads and cream cheese spreads. So soooo pretty!

It is almost too pretty to use. I do say almost. I absolutely love this board in every way possible. Do yourself a favor and buy the mineral oil (it is cheap and worth protecting your board). I bought mineral oil at Lowes and its great. The board is gorgeous and I cut up my dinner vegetables on it with plenty of room to spare. I hate when its all crowding close and I can not even get a full pepper chopped with out having to move it off my plate. This is a wonderful addition to any kitchen and with no doubt it is a great gift for a housewarming present or bridal shower gift. Anyone would be pleased to receive such a great piece.

This is a nice looking cutting board. Let's face it, some of the process of picking one out is picking out an eye catching wood grain and color. This one looks nice as soon as it arrives, and even better once treated with mineral oil to protect it. Nice size. The round shape gives you a decent surface area to cut on, while not taking up as much space as a square or rectangular cutting board would. So far, it has resisted any gouges or major cuts into the wood, but we will see how it holds up over time. It's not too thick to make it clumsy while cleaning or storing it, but just enough to feel like you're working on a solid surface. Great as a serving board, too, although you'll need both hands to carry it as the handle is snub and short.

I love this cutting board. I mean, a cutting board's a cutting board, right? But this one is so sturdy, even I may keep it together. I'm hard on cutting boards, which tend to come apart on me, even though I don't submerge them in water, etc. I'll definitely update if it falls apart in the next year or so.

The wood is oiled nicely, and I may or may not need to update the oil with a food-grade oil, as the manufacturer-applied oil seems to have impermeated the wood well. The orange paint on the handle seems like it will last a while, too, so I'm not worried there, either.

The size is perfect for my counter. I could use it for a cheese board, as in the description, but I'm more likely to use with my Mercer knives as a nice prep board.
