You do have to air it as it some with only a little air. However once you put more airkids loves it.

This ball held up great for our season of coaching 5th-6th.. Perfect size for the kids hands and success! We added this go out other 3 random footballs, the kids chose this as their game ball choice every time. 5 STAR!
