This is a great upgrade over regular 3 blade hones, especially for those that don't have much experience with regular hones.This hone is very easy to use and works very well, make sure you use a good lubricant while you hone, 10w30 oil is what I used.The one major downside to this and any other ball hone, over a regular hone, is that you can only use this hone for the specific size cylinders. Where 3 blade hones can be used for several different size cylinder bores.Other than that I would highly recommend this hone, it worked flawlessly for me.
