Works as advertised. Noticeably increases water temperature, even above outside air temp.

has only held up for 1 1/2 yrs not the 6-year manufacturer warranty. purchased November 2016. It is 34;shedding34; plastic and starting to fall apart. I certainly didn't expect 6 yrs but was hoping for 2!

on the second season and has not turned brittle yet. Very good for the price versus TX sun

A little disappointed I???ve had this on for a week and it???s been sunny all week pool temp has not increased. I previously had a smaller version of this had the 12x24 and this time got the 14x28 since they seem to shrink in the sun. Since they only last about a year I think next year I will get the blue or gray one instead of clear. The reason for the 3 stars is that it does help to keep leaves or any debris out plus helps with water evaporation just wish it would help warm the pool. I???ve had many other solar blankets and this seems to work the least as far as heat wise.

I believe the darker colors hold. The heat in better. But, no complaints.

So far so good. All the other ones we have bought elsewhere didn't last but a couple seasons.

So far so good. It's done a good job of holding the heat in the pool this winter, even when heated up to the mid 90s. Also keeps the dirt out. It's light so it's easy to put on/take off. It was easy to cut to size for my 11x28 pool, which is more narrow than standard pools. Only downside so far.. is it's starting to yellow a bit, but that's to be expected I think.

Prevents pool water from evaporating very well. That's important in Florida in the winter.

Saves so much heat. Easy to roll up.

This has extended our swimming season! I was a little skeptical with the 10 - 15 deg claim but it really does work. We have a 16x32 pool, 5.5ft on the deep end.When we first got it, daytime temps were in the mid 80's, nights in the low 60's. Pool temp was getting down to 78 - 80 uncovered, too cool for DW, a bit refreshing for me.After 3 days of keeping the pool covered the pool temp was up to 90 deg... absolutely brilliant! This week the temps have been in the mid to high 70's, nights from 48 - 53 and the pool is STILL 86 deg and swimmable.Since the cover is translucent, we keep it on during the daytime and always cover it back up after swimming. I run the pump with it on and there is no problem with doing that.Another benefit is that it reduces the amount of top off water needed to keep the pool full. We could see the mist rising off the pool after the sun went down and the amount of water vapor rising was incredible, especially on these cool, relatively dry nights here in SC. We've only had to put water in once in the past 3 weeks.I haven't installed the reel yet but it is no problem pulling it out of the pool. I'll put it on the reel next year and just fold it up for this winter.I have no idea how long it will last so jury's still out on that one, but even if it only lasts 3 years it's worth every penny!
