I really should have known if it were of any quality, it wouldn't be priced this cheaply. The first thing I saw when I opened the box is about an inch of the side hem was out. Returned and will not re-purchase.

While I won't go so far as to say I'm don't complain, I wouldn't complain about the "thinness" of a scarf bulk made in China that costs 8 bucks.I will complain if it arrives defective and demonstrates that the seller does absolutely no quality control. I ordered this in black to use in my generally cold office and I'm so glad I didn't order more like I originally planned on - I figured let me just buy one and see and if they're fine, I can get other colors.Here's the scarf I received:[...]The color is a little off because of my crappy phone but you get the gist of the GIANT BLEACH COLORED stain on the scarf. I think I'll buy American this time around!

Because it was cheap, I rolled the dice and lost on this purchase. I got it because the color went perfectly with my dress, but the actual article didn't match the photo. It has a very loose weave and although the label on it says 70% pashmina and 30 silk, I don't think it is. I don't know how you are supposed to measure a shawl, but without the fringe, it is 68 inches long.
