Was on, but more costume quality than real tie quality.

It was thinner than I expected. It was pretty see through. Luckily our wedding isn't too formal.

Nice pattern. not a terrible tie, you get what you pay for. the material seems alright I guess but I didn't realize that this was the thinnest tie I have ever seenMaybe i can use it as a belt?

There is nothing special about the tie. It is of average quality.

It is worth the price, and I'm most likely going to purchase all colors. Great, soft material that is radiant under the light.

the color was off a little, it looked kind of burnt orange actually. But the quality of the tie was good and it served it's purpose over the Christmas season.

Its a decent tie, the price was certainly right, but its a little brighter than I expected from the picture. Still looks nice, will work with the halloween costume I got it for. I would just never actually wear it with a suit for work/going out- compared to the ties I normally wear ($50+ original price, but who pays full price?), it is really cheap. I'm going to donate it to charity after halloween so it'll be put to good use.

This tie is okay on the wholecertainly cheap. But for the cheap price, it's definitely of less quality than ties I've bought in the $20 range at Kohl's. The tie is definitely wider than I expectedjust barely narrow enough to wear without feeling clownish. Also, the fabric tends to have a hard time staying flat (partly because it's so wide I think). But you know, it's cheap, so it's a pretty fair deal I guess.

I like everything about this tie except for the fact it arrived with a huge black spot right on the front of the tie. It almost looked like motor oil?? I was able to return for full refund but was really disappointed they were out of stock. I still don't understand how a new tie would have a huge black spot on it. The other tie I purchased (in light blue) was perfect.

These ties are far shinier than expected and come wadded up in a plastic baggie so you need to find a way to get the set-in creases out before you can actually wear them

Currently, I can't afford to sink any money on a $70+ top-of-the-line, "quality" designer/artisan tie, so I hunted around for a better bargain. Came upon this. The tie's design is cool: contrasting neon-white and jet-black stripes make it stand out in any crowd; skinny from top to bottom so it doesn't look too old-fashioned and stuffy. It's perfect for a young person who's forced to attend a semi-formal event, but who doesn't want to completely surrender that bold & rebellious spirit. However, the material has a definite "cheap" look and feel to it. It's a little too glossy/shiny and is very thin and light, like it's made of nylon or plastic, or is coated with wax. Almost looks like a Halloween costume accessory. Again, this is okay for semi-formal wear, but I wouldn't recommend it for, say, a job interview for example. The tie simply fails to achieve or even approach that "professional" look that's ideal in that setting. But maybe that's just me.Maybe my tie is still too new and a little bit of "breaking-in" will remove some of that sheen. Time will tell. (I think a vest or a jacket is practically a MUST with this tie, which is what I'm missing.)The reason for the 3 instead of 4 or 5 stars is that I bought this believing it would be a more versatile addition to my wardrobe than it turned out to be. (i.e. its look "clashes" too much with most of my shirts, it's a bit too skinny where I prefer "narrow" - around 2.75in is my ideal width - and, again, it doesn't seem like it'd be appropriate for all functions)Still, not a bad tie.---The tie obviously gets wider from end-to-end so when the description says the tie is 2" wide, what it's actually referring to is the widest part of the tie (i.e. at the tip), which is indeed 2" wide. I was new to ties once, too, and these are the kinds of things I was confused by so, just puttin' it out there! :)
